30N Ventures, a pioneering investment firm that is blending and integrating the entrepreneurial savviness of Venture Capital with the liquidity strategies of Private Equity, is proud to announce its investment in Wild Foods, a B-certified healthy packaged food company. Wild Foods has emerged as a relevant player in the healthy food sector, offering a diverse portfolio of high-protein, nutritious, and eco-friendly products. With this Series A round, Wild Foods is poised to accelerate its growth across the region and deepen its presence in key markets.

Founded in Chile, Wild Foods is best known for its commitment to delivering healthy, sustainable, and delicious snacks through emblematic and empowered brands, such as Wild Protein, Wild Fit, and Wild Soul. With products ranging from delicious protein bars and low-calorie chocolates to clean-label snacks, Wild Foods has successfully tapped into the growing demand for healthier, more sustainable food options. The company has leveraged aggressive, viral brand awareness campaigns and an omnichannel distribution strategy to establish itself as a strong regional player, with products now available in over 5,000 points of sale in Mexico such as Walmart, HEB, Chedraui, Soriana, Farmacias del Ahorro, 7-Eleven, among others.

Wild Foods' success stems from its emphasis on development and innovation, resulting in a wide range of free-of sugars, added oils, and saturated-fat products.

Tomas Denecken, Managing Partner at 30N Ventures, shared his thoughts on the partnership:

We have been working closely with Pier, Cochi, and Pipe – the amazingly talented, visionaries and disciplined founders of Wild Foods, for a long time now, and we are incredibly proud to support their journey. They and their iconic brand and products represent the nexus of foodtech, passionate entrepreneurship, and the massive retail market 30N searches for in our newly closed fund. They are passionate entrepreneurs who are not just building a successful business but also driving a movement towards healthier, more sustainable food options in LatAm. Our partnership represents more than capital investment. We are active investors. Our market connections and entrepreneurial support experience can help Wild Foods bridge and dominate this vastly growing opportunity throughout Latam and beyond. We look forward to playing a role in their continued growth.

Javier Castro, Co-Founder & CEO at Wild Foods, commented:

Working with 30N Ventures has been very rewarding. We found a high-performance team where we greatly appreciated the rigor of the due diligence. On the other hand, the combination of the team's experiences, depth in emerging markets, and extensive network represents the first successful case in this long-term partnership.

The funding round, led by Glisco Partners, will enable Wild Foods to scale its operations in Mexico, targeting a fivefold increase in sales over the next two years. The new capital will also help Wild Foods diversify its product lines, enter additional markets across the region, and further strengthen its omni-channel logistics network.

30N Ventures is particularly pleased to be joining Glisco Partners in this round. Denecken added:

We have a close partnership with the Glisco team, and we’re always excited to collaborate with partners who share our vision for supporting transformative companies in the region. Together, we believe Wild Foods is well-positioned to reshape the food industry in Latin America.
